My children were 2yrs and 4yrs old the first time I took them to this beautiful place they are now 52 and 50yrs young and take their children my grandchildren, they all love it here haven't missed a year since we first started going. Go have a look ,check out the merrymore pub, Betty's, the surf shop oh and the new wine bar . 5star isn't enough.
Beautiful huge beach with a fresh water stream running from the top to the bottom of the beach for pooches to have a play, cool down and a drink. Also great for families with smaller children who can play in the low stream without risk of the sea or waves.
The tide goes out very far making the beach even bigger but it does come in very quickly due to its very flay beach so be aware if your walking along the cliffs to the sides.
Awesome beach, possibly my favourite in Cornwall. Has everything you want for a beach day. Good parking for the day at only £5. Toilets, cafes, pubs, shops etc. Then a great sandy beach, caves, lots of rock pools, warm sea, good waves for bodyboarding/surfing. It really has it all. Well kept and tidy all round. Dog friendly. Highly recommend a visit too here.
Lovely beach ⛱️, great surfing and body boarding.
Lots of space, some caves and a river for little ones.
Tide comes in a long way and water is cornish gin clear 👌
RNLI life guards on duty keeping everyone safe 🙏 …
It is one of our most favourite beaches in North Cornwall. Beware, like on most beaches, changes conditions and rip tides.
Life Gaurds on Station here till Oct.
Plenty of cafes etc nearby and a restaurant.
Morgan Porth has an excellent, sandy beach with a good car park at beach level nearby. Just try and choose a better week to stay than we did! An apparently clean river enters the sea here, which adds to the interest and there are plenty of water sports going on. Typically, the sea goes out miles. Have a good time!
Lovely little beach, dog friendly with a stream running from the entrance to the sea. Long way to walk to get to the water but worth it. There's a few little caves along the cliffs. There is a couple of beach just as you walk onto the beach which we sat at enjoying a cornish pasty (when in Roman!)
Parking opersite entrance £4 for the day
Clean, beautiful, dog friendly, the pub and restaurant were fantastic. Betty's shop has lots of things for holiday and a nice clothing line. Busses to the beach and towns regular. Locals very friendly.
